how is it that our society has built up such interesting/archaic (from my perspective) rituals such as dressing up for an interview, presenting a carbon copy of what you think they think they want?? We use this to judge the value of an individual? I would rather prefer that interviews are no formal date, no specific time, no direct Q/A sessions, just dialogue and getting to know someone, that way you can decide if you like them or not. but alas! that would not keep the surplus labor pool clinging and desperate, one has to place these societal obsticles in front of an individual to see things clearly and prejiduce individuals, thus we can see the utility of continued bigotry, sexism, homophobia, ect... though not in an explicit form (it is more worthwhile to have individuals who might be classified as such to participate in the labor trial rather than be a slave, subject to patriarchy, ect... Its more costly to maintain a slave, while with a wage labor one can simply not worry about maintaining the individual outside of the workplace....in some respects the employer has keept all the rights and priveleges he previously had as a sharecroper, but disolved himself of any direct responsibilty of the subject outside of the factory/office.) These groups are called to compete in a mock competition, compeeting for disadvantaged positions (i.e. 'glass cealing' 'racial wage differences' ect..). What to do...what to do....oh well... im fucking tired of this rant.
