most people

you shouldn't partly give up on life. you should either embrace life, or give up completely. i don't think these two characteristics describe most people. i think most people partly give up on life.

there's quite a bit of material here. mostly prose poetry, but there are some stories in the archives as well. mostly hit and miss, like all things.

Why do you think this? I'm not sure if I disagree or not, so I'd like to know more.

Don't you think one day someone who has partly given up on life could grow the little hope into big hope and eventually embrace life?

sure people change, but isn't it up to us whether we embrace life or give up on it? these are decisions people make about life i think. so at any given moment a person is saying i embrace life, or i'm giving up on life, or fall somewhere inbetween. i think most people are somewhere inbetween. does this make sense? its kinda like the idea, if you're gonna go, go all out, or not at all, but don't half ass it. i don't know i was mostly sad at the world and wanted to say something sad about it.

Yes it all makes sense. I understand the "if you're gonna go, go all out - no half-assing it", which rarely happens. Even though not many do it I'd like to think that everyone is capable of it, even on their last day of life.
