putting on a smile

certain people probably meet misfortune more frequently than others, are they to blame that their dispositions bare these scars? not all people are born with sunny dispositions and not all are taught the virtue of optimism and selective enduring. if you just happen to bump into a few too many miserable people, to the point that everyone you see is miserable, this could effect you negatively. subtly, but actually. some people can't help how they are, we say as we go about things, putting on a smile.

enough of this jive. turkey. we want some living and breathing. you say it or you don't say it. overanalysis is a fool's game.

i love these people because:
a. they give me life (in whatever shape / form)
b. i'm going along with feelings i'll continally fail to understand.
c. comprehension fails me. my head rolls off these shoulders and across the room. look at that head: it seems to be lost and confused.

there are poets from california that are almost immortal. i will construct a house of granite and be forever stoic. halfway there. not quite. something always missing.
